I am guessing...rashly, I suppose...that it is dusk, Louis?
Louis: So rashly, so correctly guessed, Ray. That is the time when Venus is seen as the first 'star' to appear.
Such a lovely shot, Louis!!! Nicely done!
Louis: Wht thank you, young lady smile

en een ster op de toren van de kerk - een fijn avondlijk sfeertje
Louis: De lucht is hier wel schoner als waar ik woont. De nachthemel is ook heel mooi.
Two in one Louis...Superb capture!
Louis: Merci beaucoup, m'sieur Standley.

Must be a planet Louis
Louis: Venus
Very nicely presented, Louis, in wonderful simplicity.
Louis: Thank you Ginnie. Most things are simple in Namibia.
Delightful gradation from Orange to blue Louis, and a fabulous photograph.
Louis: Thank you gutteridge, I am glad you like it.

This is a fabulous picture, LOVE the colour change from Orange into blue... you were there at the right time. The star is the bonus here.
Louis: Thank you Astrid - always nice to be on holiday - then you have time
most effective, I like the colour gradation
Louis: Thank you Martin
That's a pretty one, Louis. Well seen.
Louis: Thank you Mary - with the clean air, one sees the same sights, just better.
Just needs a manger....
Louis: It could be the roof to the left ...
Or possibly planet?
Louis: Venus is definitely a planet, but long before we were born, it was called the evening star. After the sun and moon, it is the third most light giving body in our planetary system - the reason why it is the first visible 'star' at dusk and the last visible at dawn.
absolutely brilliant, Louis!
Louis: Thank you Ayush
Like Ginnie, I love the simplicity of this calming and peaceful image, Louis.
Louis: Thank you Beverly
i love this composition...
my guess is that it's Venus Louis....petersmile
Louis: Yes, that is the evening star's other name, peter. Thank you.
