Got a bag full of the good stuff!
Louis: You reckon? They may interpret that as coffee and dates smile
Great shot, Louis He looks like Sean Connery!
Louis: Thanks Elizabeth. You mean, he looks old? smile
Jolie photo mais il n'a pas l'air très aimable
Louis: Merci Martine. J'ai pris la photo avec une longue focale. Il était seul et probablement pris dans ses pensées.

A nice candid street shot Louis
Louis: Thank you Chris - long lens helps to make it candid.
Makes sense to me, Louis!!! (Or, in our case, on Monday, since Astrid is off work that day and can share the shopping with me, which she enjoys.)
Louis: As long as you keep paying attention to the hobby, Ginnie.
Sound advice Louis.
Louis: Thank you, my sage
Good idea!
Louis: Then you can also lay in, for one day in the week, Larry.
What a character Louis! Great capture.
Louis: Thank you Richard
Looks like a very heavy bag of money! It is raining much needed rain here today and maybe onward. Happy day!
Louis: Ah, money! My aunt used to say that money is not all, but that what comes second, is so far behind. smile I can scarcely believe that you guys can have a shortage of rain. I thought you would still be up to your knees in the water that melted from the snow.
He provides the curve lines of this image.
Louis: Interesting comment. I sat on the roof of our backpackers and I spotted this guy walking towards this area with all the angular lines. I also thought his keffiyeh would add some local interest.

I do my shopping on Friday- but using linen bags, not plastic bags as they are usual in Israel among Arabs, Jews and Christians.
Louis: In Africa, they love the plastic bags. Our government forced shops by law to charge for plastic bags, in the hope there will be less of them on the landscape.
WE tend to shop as and when, apart from Sundays.
Louis: Saturday and Sunday is when all the working stiffs shop, so I stay away from the shops on those days.

what a great picture. I think you saw a lot of these walking all over the place. I assume they are not in the same quarters as the Jews? In Holland we have to pay for the plastic bags, I always have a linen shopping bag with me, I refuse to pay for plastic...
Louis: Many men with the keffiyeh in the desert area of the West Bank, but very few in Jerusalem. It is something like Paris, where you have student quarters, muslim quarters, etc. Only, in Israel it is divided into Palestinian and Israeli areas.

Is that a tablet in his right hand - Babel is never far away these days. Nice graphic quality to this fine B&W Louis.
Louis: Most likely a mobile, blackdog. Thank you.
Cracking picture Louis. No time to shop on a Friday! Book Sale tomorrow
Louis: Thank you Bill. Have a great sale.
this is a great candid shot Louis... he shows a lot of character Louis... we shop any day of the week... because everyday is a weekend for us....petersmile
Louis: Thank you, peter. Saturday and Sunday is when all the working stiffs shop, so I stay away from the shops on those days.
Looks like an interesting character!
Louis: He could be, Tom. In places like these, I always have this strange thoughts about chance "meetings" with people. If I haven't seen him, did he exist? The camera proves that he existed at that moment. And so forth ...
