Superbe photo pour clore ce sujet.
Louis: Merci beaucoup, Martine
Oh what a terrific night shot, Louis! Well done!
Louis: Thank you Elizabeth. This is the third shot I have made handheld, before I was happy with it.

This photo could make my day and night- wonderful!
Louis: Thank you Philine - it is a beautiful sight.
What a "peaceful" ending to your magnificent and informative travel guide, Louis. I'm sure you'll never forget it!
Louis: Forget - no, never. A place where violence and love, live just below the surface. Exotic and familiar at the same time. Old, very old - with a history that impacts on current affairs.Anyplace you know in Europe is very young by comparison. Just extraordinary - thanks Ginnie.

Woe! Quite a picture, Louis!
Louis: Thank you Lisl and it is quite a place.
A stunning image Louis, and a fine way to close this most fascinating and informative visit.
Louis: Thank you gutteridge. The visit was one thing and the opportunity to internalise it. while preparing my postings, was also special.
I have really enjoyed your Israel series. I almost emailed you a song the other day. Kutiman is an innovative musician from Israel that I have been following for a few years. Every couple of weeks I receive a new song on YouTube. I received the new song, Jaffa, a few days after your Jaffa shots. Check him out.
Louis: Thank you, Mary. Glad you enjoyed it. Could have mailed the Kutiman link. I have now listened to it and have difficulty to find Jaffa in the music. I found Jerusalem in this one : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHglfyQOd2s and the vibrancy of Tel Aviv came out in this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izSRjdYln8E So, thank you for introducing me to Kutiman.
A fine nightscape to conclude with
Louis: Thank you Martin - such a fine view, and no tripod - Had to make a plan.
It has been visually enjoyable and informative too Louis
Louis: Thank you Bill. As I mentioned to gutteridge - posting the series was a good way to internalise what I have seen and experienced.
it's a great skyline at night Louis... it's difficult to capture this with a hand held camera... you have a steady hand....petersmile
Louis: Thank you peter. Two things to steady hand held shots. Find a fixed object on which you can place the camera, without something impeding the bottom half of the lens. It will still be difficult to hold still. Deep breath on the diaphragm and then slowly let it out. The camera is at its steadiest during that exhale. This last part is a trick I have learned as sharpshooter. Even doing all of this, it took me 3 wasted shots to land this one.

The floating city to close the file. Many fine images Louis and much learning for me through sharing your trip.
Louis: Thank you blackdog, a lot of learning happened for me, during that visit.
