Il est très beau. Il est à  l'affût du moindre bruit.
Louis: Il va bondir à la moindre indication de certaines proies. Merci, Martine.

On the lookout for FISH!
Louis: Yes, he already has the crabs ...
Good for peering over those tall grasses Louis.
Louis: A bird's view, so to speak, gutteridge.
With n eye to lunch perhaps
Louis: I believe the stretch function has to do with obtaining an angle, with which it can defeat the reflection on the water surface, that normally keeps us from seeing what is going on below.

Either spotted lunch or a predator. Good photo as ever.

Very heron-like with that all-observing eye, Louis
Louis: When you see it like this, there can be no doubt that it is a heron, methinks.
This is a really lovely bird.
Louis: I agree with that, Mary.
A fine capture with your camera.

A lovely bird... we have those in North Carolina, only white...
Louis: We have the white ones as well. They can be so lacy with their feathers when in breeding.
