Bicycle Friday - bush bashing

There are many trails fit for MTB's in this general area. These two were pushing their bikes along one such trail. I am not sure what the reason for pushing was.

Have a great weekend.

Il manque la machette pour traverser.
Louis: Il regarde comme ils ont besoin d'une machette.
If only the trees could talk! smile
Louis: They do. They use the wind for that, as they don't have their own lungs, Ginnie.

The perfect thing to do on a sunny day, bashing a bush
Louis: Yep, building up a sweat could be a good thing smile
Perhaps they had punctures

The Christmas lights get switched on in town here tomorrow
Louis: It is possible in thorn country, Bill. Enjoy the lights.
I like that term, bush bashing. I would be a little concerned about snakes and other things Louis.
Louis: There are critters around, gutteridge, but they would know how to handle the situation - I hope.

The intrepid explorers set forth...
Louis: ... or arrive back, looking forward to a tall glass clinking with ice ...
Looks like pretty tough terrain for a bike!
Louis: There is a dirt path of about 1 meter broad, where they are going. Best to stick to the path, though.
perhaps just catching up on their breath, Louis. a nice day to be outside although warm perhaps.
Louis: Quite warm - sun warm, not humid. You may be right about breath catching.
.... they were too tired? Nice catch!
Louis: When I am tired, I ride ... smile

It looks a bit hairy, but I read they have a path. I think their arms might have been a bit scratched otherwise
Louis: Without the path, they would have stayed home, I think. The reserve is without big 5 type animals and has many MTB paths. Nice to explore by bike, but I do it by foot.

I am just returned from a few days of exploring remote country in NW Cambodia, Louis...hired local, single-speed push-bikes on two days, and explored that way...loved it, and especially the frequent need for re-hydrating with delicious, local Angkor beer.!
