Wonderful capture, Louis!
Louis: Thank you Ray
Super shot of this colourful bird, Louis.
Louis: Thanks a lot, Frank
Oh he's absolutely gorgeous!!
Great song - what harmony, eh?!

J'aime beaucoup son "chapeau" rouge.
Louis: C'est un beau pic, je suis d'accord, Martine.
T E X T B O O K. And what a delightful song to accompany it!
Louis: Thank you Ginnie. Those sisters sang so sweetly while bopping.

Well taken, Louis. Are they quite shy like our Woodpeckers?
Louis: Oh yes, Lisl. They normally try to keep a branch or trunk between you and them. They move to stay behind that tree trunk as one walks past. (Sorry for that, it was a bit of a hard day.)

oh, he wears a nice, red cup!
Louis: He resembles a cardinal, I think, Philine.
This is a gorgeous bird with it's yellow shafted tail and bright red cap. You got an excellent capture to be proud of here.
Louis: Thank you Mary. I am glad of this picture.
Way up there with your very best pictures Louis, a lovely bird and so well photographed.
Louis: Thank you Brian - and to think I dragged it out of the forgotten files.
Great picture and a great song!
Louis: Thank you Bill - although not a song from my day and age, I remembered it as something my dad liked; this one and "Yellow bird"
Fine shot, Louis!
Louis: Thank you, Tom

FABULOUS picture, so crisp, so wonderful.
I always like the sound when they 'hammer' a tree.
A likey to me.
Louis: Thanks a lot, Astrid. I bet the bugs don't like the hammering ...

Excellent Louis, it is so detailed I can almost see what he is thinking ;o)
Louis: Heh, heh - only thinking of woodworms, eh?
wearing its red cap...
Louis: Somewhat like a RC clerical, eh?
