Sticky insects

This looks like a pair of water striders. I couldn't make a positive identification and I am not sure whether they are doing 'it'. What interested me are those fish-like eyes.

Doing "it" whilst walking on water...now, that is an accomplishment!

Fine pic, Louis.
Louis: Thank you Ray. You know there are birds doing "it" while they are flying? Now that is defying the laws of nature.
Je ne connais pas son nom mais la photo est jolie.
Louis: Merci Martine.
A very nice find, Louis!
Louis: Indeed, Elizabeth, thank you.

This is something even Mr Storey of Thailand has been unable to achieve. But I'll bet he's tried. Great shot Louis
Louis: I gather you are referring to the ability to be doing "it" while balancing on a submerged leaf? I am sure Ray can do that.
LOL, Louis. Whatever they're doing, they at least have a prop to rely on!
Louis: A little help from nature - looks easy then smile

een heel mooie foto - if they are a couple, they are likely to do 'it'. What should they do else?
Louis: Wel - doenen van "it" is erg belangrijk, maar ze moet ook eten, denk smile

Super picture, Louis - quite a moment to catch
Louis: Thank you Lisl - they make a nice bundle of sticks smile
"Multiplication that's the name of the game" as the song says
Louis: When you see, a gentleman bee,
'Round a lady bee buzzin'

Very Darin' for those days.
I love water striders and have faith that there will be more.
Louis: The possibility is very high, as evidenced smile
Very good capture Louis, they couldn't have been doing what you think, SC hasn't marked it up as 'risque'.
Louis: Oh, so you have happened on that error message as well grin Thank you Brian.

'Doing it'.... I think he is saving the other one from drowning.... LOL at Philine... 'What else should they do'... naughty naughty naughty wink...

What a great picture and I love the leaves under water.
Louis: Thank you Astrid. Philine understands natural urges smile
i can figure out what they are doing Louis... as for the eyes... they get as big as saucers when the have an orgasmgrin
Louis: ... and pop goes the weasel - heh, heh
making good use of the water surface, Louis. wonderful shot.
Louis: They do, Ayush. I studied them as they sat there. Very long front parts of the legs help to spread their weight across the surface, with only denting the surface tension. One of the reasons why I took the picture.
Hitching a ride!
Louis: That could be it, Tom
