What an impressive beak!

Nice shot, too, Birthday Boy!

Oh no, he is beautiful and says: "Mirror mirror on the wall who is the fairest one of all". Your second eye is now good, too!
Louis: If possible, the second one is 2% better than the first one smile Thank you Philine.

Jolie photo avec le reflet.
Louis: Merci Martine
A fine shot
Louis: Thanks Martin.
Beautiful shot, Louis. Snipes are one of my favorite birds but I rarely see them now. Lovely healthy duckweed is present in it's best habitat.
Louis: They are scarce - or maybe just shy - over here as well.
HA! Now that you can see, I bet a lot of us won't seem beautiful at all (well, I'm speaking for myself, of course). smile
Louis: You are lucky, since you are a girl. Doesn't matter what, you never are as ugly as a boy smile
A very fine bird picture Louis
Louis: Thank you Bill

Very similar to ours. I was watching snipe in some number just last week.
Louis: I believe I may have seen only 5 snipes in my life. They are very shy - this one was special; or maybe I was lucky that it didn't see me for some time.
Lovely birds aren't they, this shot comes complete with a fine reflection. I trust both eyes are well and truly sorted now, I think you will find, as I did, that your photos now look a bit different than before, especially in depth of colour and sharpness.
Louis: There are a lot of things that changed with the new eyes. Although I had the blur spots from the cataracts - I never realised how bad my view actually became. It is now like when I was 16.
You tease Louis, the thumbnail had me fooled.
Louis: Heh, heh. Just testing your eyes, gutteridge.

Well, I don't see anything wrong with this bird... I think this is a wonderful picture.
I love those reflections!!!
Louis: Not so beautifully in proportion as some other birds. Thank you Astrid.
I've been enjoying all your bird pix!
Louis: Thank you Jacquelyn
I thought it looked rather snipe-ish smile
Louis: Scarce bird in my part of the world; so I am glad I have this shot.
excellent shot, Louis. you are back doing what you do best!
Louis: Thank you Ayush
