Very good, Louis.
Louis: Thank you, Ray
Excellent treatment - gives it that "subway" feel!
Louis: Thank you, Elizabeth. Almost a subway - this station is built on two levels, where the north/south lines use the lower level. So for a short distance the train will be "underground".

Welcome back Louis, this just has to be Dutchland
Louis: Thank you Chris and it absolutely is.
Hope you had a great trip Louis. I like this picture very much
Louis: It was a heck of a great trip, thanks Bill.
It is good to capture everyday scenes that might get overlooked.
Louis: I was the only one pointing a camera, here. It was very different at tourist spots that I visited later on during my trip.

This is a wonderful picture and I wonder was the train in time?? Welcome back from the Dutchand.
Louis: This is Dutchland, so the train is on time. Thank you Astrid.
Back from the travels with a new batch of images. Welcome back.
Louis: Thank you Mary. Yes, about 1200 of them. But I will far from show them all smile
A good start to the journey I hope we are going to enjoy with you Louis.
Louis: Thank you Brian and we will do a short Netherlands and then embark for Portugal.
Great perspective, Louis...
Louis: Thank you Larry
Very atmospheric, Louis.
Louis: I tried for the more silhouetting style on the waiting passengers - so I hoped that "waiting without identity" will come across.
Interesting treatment, Louis - works very well.
Louis: Thank you Tom

I love subway photos and this one is wonderful. The b&w works well.
Louis: Thank you Beth. In my own country the opportunity never avails.
great b&w composition with the motion of the train... i would find it difficult to say the word Heerhugowaard....petersmile
Louis: Thank you peter. Yes, English/French speaking people will find it difficult. I was forced to use the GPS on my phone to find addresses of people I visited. The english girl in my phone, had the time of her life to try and pronounce Dutch street names.
Gotta love the "it could be anywhere" feel to this, Louis.
Louis: But not in South Africa - we don't have lower level stations (hence the subway feel) like this one. I think one tends to snap things that you don't see in your own country, when abroad.
