Oh isn't that Wonderful! And a terrific image, Louis!
Louis: Thank you Elizabeth. Clogs are actually great shoes - but they make a lot of noise on hard surfaces.

Do they have your size, Louis?
Louis: I didn't ask, Ray - but they would have had.

This is nice collection and I love the bottom right.... Those would do great on a Sunday to church.
Louis: Yes, they would make quite some noise on a plank floor, especially when you arrive late smile

Those at bottom right look the most comfortable, Louis
Louis: They should all be comfortable, since the inside of the clog is about comfort. But that pair should draw the attention of some girls - so I think young ones will like them.
Who said clogs can't have their own personality! (In other words, they don't all look alike!)
Louis: Exactly, Ginnie. Better than blue suede shoes.

Yes, I know where we are. Er is een beeetje verschill tussen de klompjes.
Louis: Arbeiders klompen en ook heren klompen. Ze geven allemaal groot geluid op de keien.

And how different they all are in style too
Louis: They are like benches. The one you sit on, in your picture of today, is better maintained and loved than the one you keep in your backyard smile
Well they could be on a floor Louis and you lying on the ceiling to take this image.
Louis: Remember to look at Wednesday's picture, gutteridge.

Jolie collection de sabots.
Louis: Merci Martine.
i saw some on sale (more from a souvenir point of view), but never such as the ones with the pointed ends, Louis. serious damage if you stub someone with those on!
Louis: Oh the pointed ones are still in process I think. But it also could be the latest fashion in Dutchland.
Winklepicker clogs. Now that's something new!
Louis: To pick one's winkles ... or just a quirk of fashion smile
What an excellent shot, Louis. It would make a great poster.
Louis: Your comment had me do a re-think about the goal with this picture. Thanks Mary.
Nice shot, Louis, in my youth clogs were very common, my Grandma wore them all the time.
Louis: Yes, they are good when the ground is wet and soggy. My in-law parents wore them and my children as well.
So many different styles and they look good in B.& W.
Louis: Thank you Brian. Silver Effex had some great versions available.
they seem to be graded by field work in the top three rows to the Sunday best in the bottom row Lois....petersmile
Louis: Heh, that might be the idea, peter
Some stylish looking clogs there!
Louis: The bottom right hand pair seems to be cowboy clogs smile
