Hmmmm...no doubt you sampled them all Louis.
Louis: I tried, but capacity of sobriety didn't allow me to go that far (they have many types). I do remember the cucumber infused gin, being so nice that it presented a hurdle to continuation after some time.
Beautifully done, Louis! I love the rich red color of the table cloth!
Louis: Thank you Elizabeth. The table cloth is actually a carpet/rug and the use of it on tables, a general approach in older Dutch households. For lunch of dinner, they just spread a sheet over the rug.

The big breakfast, the monster breakfast or the belly buster option?
Louis: A triple bacon sarnie ...

My grandma and later my mother had such a 'rug' on the table..... even if you took away the flowerpot, you knew where to put it back wink... fabulous selective colouring. This goes far back in my memory.
Louis: Many older households still have these rugs on the table. Because the rug brought back memories, I couldn't get it over my heart to subject it to b&w.
Fabulous selective coloring, Louis! And I just learned something new from Astrid! smile
Louis: Thank you Ginnie. Yes those rugs were and still is common in older households.
So serious choices were being made. I like the selective colour here Louis
Louis: Thank you Bill - serious choices, since there are more types of gin than what one of normal capacity can consume.

Il a un air très sérieux, le choix est difficile.
Louis: C'est vrai, Martine. Il y a une longue liste de choix.

Did you try them all? This is a great photograph Louis, almost like a Van Gogh study. I like the chiaroscuro and the colour of the tablecloth.
Louis: I will get storm drunk, from trying them all, gutteridge. I think if old Van Gogh had my camera back then, he would have made a lot of money, without the need to paint.
oohh this is very good, Louis. i can imagine some stories behind this scene. love the back lighting too and the monochrome in red is masterful.
Louis: The story behind the scene is the serious business we discussed, Ayush. Thank you for the appreciation.
Great job on this, Louis. The foreground chair is smiling.
Louis: Thank you Mary, yes the chair seems friendly.
I like this shot very much Louis, I don't like Gin, no doubt there were other beverages to be tried.
Louis: Thank you Brian. There were also 4 or 5 Dutch whiskey's to taste, beers, coffee and probably even tea smile
Always a problem - I asked to see the dessert menu at a restaurant here in Vilnius and was told, Well, there's only one dessert, so it is quite easy to tell you!
Louis: Yup, actually long menu's can keep me busy, as I always feel I have to read everything. A bit silly, but I am sure I am not the only one doing a silly thing here and there.
