Musikverein

This building houses the Musikverein (Musical Society) of Vienna.  The Goldener Saal (Golden Hall) is inside and is famous for the annual Neujahrskonzert (new Years Concert). During my visit in May I have attended a concert by the Vienna Mozart Orchestra in the Goldener Saal. Itwas quite an experience. This picture of the building I took afterwards.

That is one fabulous night shot, Louis! WOW!

Actually, this reminds me of the Opera House in Hannover, Germany. Very similar in architectural style.

Impressive building, Vienna is really a beautiful town to visit !

magnificent shot...so much life...i think i see a street busker in the corner just right of centre bottom. It is a incredible building...somehow the Union buildings just dont compare! smile
Louis: Lol, the busker. That is a modern body position; something I have seen many places in europe. She is taking a cellphone picture of a small group of people. It is amazing that when a tour bus stops how the phones come out and the people start to take pictures. Thanks for your comment liam.
