Manfred's guitar

The second in the series of blurries for this week.

This is Manfred on the guitar leading his band of entertainers at the Zimmermann Heuriger where I attended a party in Vienna somewhare in May this year.  I swopped some great stories with Manfred during their breaks.

The ghostly blurred fingers are cool. Nice effect.
Louis: Thank you Red Pen - as a result of this kind of picture I am always amazed at how much movement can be packed into 1/5 sec.

Another nicely dynamic shot. This is a good idea for shooting a music performance.
Louis: Thank you Martin - my special request to them was 'O du lieber Augustine' - to give you an idea of what kind of music they played.

Nice one, Louis.
I had to read your Title before seeking and finding Manfred's guitar...I was into the rollicking tune from the piano accordian that doesn't seem to have an "off" button.
Louis: Beautiful isn't it. In my home language they call the piano accordion a 'pensklavier' which can translate to 'paunch piano'. Thanks for your comment ray
Very nice one Louis! Goes to my likeys!! Very Dynamic shot.
Louis: I thought you may like this picture with the musical instruments. Thanks Frank - it is an honour to end up in your likeys.

Brilliant. Love the composition.I can feel the vibe. Oh ..the music in Vienna must have been amazing.
Louis: I have also attended a concert by the Mozart String orchestra in the famous Goldener Saal where they have the Neujahrskonzert. I have blogged pictures from the event at http://www.louis.shutterchance.com/photoblog/Adagio_/ and the one just before it. There was also impromptu musicians doing there thing in the streets. Vienna will always remain special to me. Thanks for your comment Gale.

Louis, yet another fantastic motion photograph. Focused enough to draw in the viewer and tell the story with just the right touch of blur to allow one to feel the music and passion of the musicians. Bravo! And I hope you won't mind me putting this in my Likeys smile
Louis: I don't mind and think it is an honour, thank you Kathryn.

I suddenly had a family moment, Louis! My mom used to play the accordion (her mobile piano!) and my many nephews play the guitar.

You're on a blurry roll. I like it!
Louis: Thank you Ginnie, some more blurries coming up smile

The blurries evoce a kind of swinging and moving in my mind - and I can imagine to hear the music, for music is always movement- physically (for example by dancing) and mentally! You are indeed a motion photograph, so this kind of art can sometimes transcend its own frontiers, too!
Louis: Thank you Philine and for understanding as well.
one can almost hea the sound...nice take on the band!!
Louis: Thanks Patrick - they are good for a nice relaxed evening out.
Nice one, cool blurry image.
Louis: Thanks for commenting Sesan

Gosh, his fingers must have been whizzing.
Louis: Whizzing they are I agree, one fifth of a second is actually short. Thanks for the comment Ellie.

love the desat tones and the movement mr k. very professional stuff
Louis: Thank you neal - your visit is very much appreciated.
'O du lieber Augustine'....I was thinking more of gypsy music...love the right hand of the guitar player, wish I hadn't noticed his wrist watch...
Louis: No, the Vienese are cousins of the Germans - so gypsy will not be the style - rather oompah or german folk. Here it was german folk. When I uploaded I thought about the wrist watch and Aksel tongue
