Yellow-billed duck
Something is itching. The duck must be itching for a great weekend. All the best for the weekend and paint your various towns and cities red!

Good colours captured here
Louis: Thank you vintage
Great beauty in the detail of this image, Louis...such as, the translucent webbing on the extended foot, as the duck goes through it balletic warm-up routine.
Louis: Thanks ray, the sun turned yellow into orange there. Heh, I want to see them doing ballet with such feet.
I love ducks! Their markings are so beautiful and the colors so vibrant. Nice one, Louis!
Louis: Thank you marybeth - they are nice birds in more than one way
I didn't know ducks did morning calisthenics
Louis: Trained by that Fonda chick
After bathing, tidied up the hair in the body in order to look pretty.
Regards From Yogyakarta Indonesia.
Louis: Thank you bram - I see you are in UK and Indonesia at the same time
Beautiful capture Louis. Lighting and colours are superb! have a great weekend.
Louis: Thank you Richard
That's a fine shot!
Louis: Thanks Chris
Very nice !!!
I love the details and the light ...
Louis: Thank you Ann - I am glad to see something of you again. My fault as well :-(
Beautiful details captured here Louis. The lighting is superb.
Louis: Thank you Aussie - the backlight helps a lot here.
Oh louis, this is such a likey for me.
Louis: Thank you Mary. When I was chasing the ducks (only with the camera) I was thinking of you and PEI.
Classy photograph, Louis.
Louis: Thanks chad
thats a wonderful shot,i love the lighting
Louis: Thank you shiv, nice comment coming from someone who can work natural lighting
wonderful shot Louis with great lighting matey
Louis: thank you tim - i seem to be getting the hang of shooting against light.
Rood? Hmz... 't verflaagje houdt het nog wel even. We laten het nog maar een paar jaar zitten....
Prettig weekend.
Louis: De russen zat hun beste voet voor. Wat een sisser. Was daar alweer oranje koekjes in de winkel? Vast wel. Groetjes ook daar.
Beautiful light really makes this.
Louis: Thanks Bill - I seem to be getting the hang of shooting against light.
Louis, I have seen many ducks, BUT this one is a likey yo me, the lighting is spot on, so sharp, so very well composed, love it.
I will post them later on http://www.kinderdijk.nl/index2.htm
Louis: Thanks for the honour. I will be on the lookout for the bird.
Yep, lighting and colours are terrific. A super shot.
Louis: Thank you FLOOG - out to lunch at 21:31 - must have been one of those famous Friday lunches that lasts into the wee hours
Although the position of the bird is strange, I like much the tonality and the light of the photo!
Louis: Thank you Josè-Angel. The bird is like a dog. It is licking itself
Beautiful shot
Louis: Tyank you zohre
That you said to the duck in order that should turn the neck and should look at you? I like the obtained light, give sensation of getting dark!
Louis: Thank you cashondeo. I told the duck it is beautiful. Then it posed for me
Louis, you've done good here. Every detail is spot on.
Louis: Thank you kay
Congrats and making 500 old man! I like the light through the ducks foot.
Louis: Very observant of you kind sir - and thank you
Beautiful light and colours in this one - and it looks pin sharp. Like how the light hits the foot
Louis: Thank you Aksel
I agree with all of the above! It sure is pleasant to look at, a precious captured moment of vanity! I aspecially like the lighting.
Louis: Thanks Huibri. I think I have the hang of taking pictures against strong backlight. Since the birds don't help me I have to help myself
