CCC - no ducks

This week I have applied shenannigans to man-made structures, and I am pleased with the results. In my own opinion there are some areas of improvement, but rather tell me what you think.

The Cape Town Convention Centre reflected in the windows of a glass fronted hotel.

All the best for the weekend.

Nice reflection, though...
Louis: Thank you Ray ...
That's a wonderful industrial image Louis
Louis: Thanks Chris, quite a number of industries caught in one reflection, come to think of it
Terrific capture of this reflection, Louis. I love the slight distortion in each pane of glass. (:o)

Louis: Thank you Sien. Groetjes en genietze van je weekend. Hah, we had gisteravond de Sinterklaas journaal voor hier op de buitelandse net. Lekker om zo tegelijk in een ander land te zitten.

This works very well, Louis. The distortion adds to the overall splendour
Louis: Thanks FLOOG - it also reminded me a little of those pictures that you plastic wrapped smile
Great reflection Louis. This is my kind of image. Have a great weekend.
Louis: Glad you like it - taking building pictures is not what I normally do. It is pictures like yours that inspires me - thank Bernie.
Great picture!

WOT!? No selling pictures??
Louis: No, Frank - no selling. That way the fun remains fun. Or maybe the economy is not pressing me hard enough yet smile

Now this I like very much, Louis.
Louis: Thank you Chad, you probably have been to this place, I guess.
A fine reflective picture Louis. I think I might have trimmed that strip of light blue from the right side
Louis: I did trim it during processing Bill and the result was as if the picture goes a bit flat, so I left it - sort of as if I am left with too much of the same thing. My first feeling was to crop it, yes.

perfectly framed, the distortion's great...
Louis: Thank you PhotoSam, always interesting that distortion and reflections can enhance a picture so much.

Yep, sharp, clear, beautiful reflections.

Can I add a dampener? A teeny bit straighter on the verticals? the blue bit on the right is slightly lozenge shaped - perhaps Bill's suggestion might work too

Hope you don't mind wink - please join me on my site tomorrow where you can criticise and suggest to your heart's content
Louis: You know you are free to share your views Ellie - no issue with that. The last part seems to be an invite so I will take a look at your pic for the day smile
About your 'dampener' - I did straighten the picture (the grid told me the verticals were straight) and experimented with crops, including to exclude the part you referred to. That crop left the picture a bit flat (my thinking) with too much sameness - so in the end I included the part. Sounds like I am defending, but then it was also one of my first instincts to crop that part.

This is my cup of tea...I have no suggestion how to improve this... wink
Louis: Now I can rest easy tonight wink My life's mix means that apart from working, I get more into nature than where I can take these pictures - your cup of tea is what I like as well.
