Looking over the edge in front of the SaniTop Chalets. If you bring enough warm clothing and a picnic basket you can have a lunch with a view. In summer it gets hot.

Have a great weekend, rest up and next week we will cross over the Lesotho landscape.

With a view like this, Louis, I'd had my breakfast at teh first table, lunch at the middle one and finished the day with dinner at the last one. smile
Louis: Eliza, who left a comment after you, indicated that you may miss out on the sundowner smile

what a shot! i agree with vz...you could easily spend all day there looking at the view, watching the light etc. the only thing he misses out is the sundowner smile
Louis: I releayed your observation about the sundowner. The americans down know what it is like to sit on the hood of a landrover, something suitable in the hand while watching the sun go down and the first calls of the nightjar. Special, oh so special.

hi Louis,
did you add a texture in photoshop?
Louis: For the HDR look I started with 5 exposures from out of the single RAW picture. One of them I ran through a light poster filter. Then ran the lot through Photomatix. The textured look comes from that postered picture in the group.

Rock climbers paradise even if a little cold, great shot Louis
Louis: I know of a fellow shutterchancer that hails from scotland that climbed somewhere in this area. Strange that the rock climbers are not so active around here as they are in our western cape province.
I see old mountains, Louis. Very majestic.
Louis: Thanks Chad, they are old allright smile
Well composed. The grass looks like it has creases in it?
Louis: For the HDR look I started with 5 exposures from out of the single RAW picture. One of them I posterised with a light filter. Then ran the lot through Photomatix. The creased look comes from that postered picture in the group.
I like it very much.
Louis: Thank you Frank

What a masterpiece Louis. Love it.
Louis: Thank you Albert

Louis: I have been fooling around with what goes into Photomatix here. Thanks for the comment Magnus
