Thing are stacking up louis
Louis: Thanks vintage - you are right about things
Just another brick in the wall
Louis: Thanks Kathryn - beautiful comments elicited by these bricks
Stacks of potential!
Can the architect succeed in making the whole greater than the sum of the parts... I like this image heaps, Louis.
Louis: You are a visionary ray. Thanks for spotting the synergetic potential and not hitting the brickwall.
Just like Kindergarten, Louis.
Louis: Shucks, we were a little wild, they didn't allow us to play with bricks in kindergarten. Mind you they also didn't allow us into kindergarten.
Did you just sneak past 500 without telling us? I hope this doesn't describe how you feel about life on the dark side of 500 post.
Louis: Thanks for noticing Martin. It slipped me by as well. See the brick stack as the sign of building from anew.
An original, nicely graphic pic! Some times later we would see an other pic when the bricks are put away. Not "like kindergarden", fp me like hard work!
Louis: Thank you Philine. My kindergarten teacher didn't allow us to play with bricks - she knew it was safer that way. You are right that a stack of bricks spells hard work!
I know how difficult it can be to get the right crop on a pic like this (at least I find it difficult) - here I wouldn't change a thing....very nice
Louis: Hah, you are right about that. This wasn't the first crop I tried. Thanks for the comment Aksel.
Not an easy job to stack bricks in line! Very nice capture Louis.
Louis: Especially if the ground is uneven. Thanks Richard.
Very colourful Louis ...
richard
Louis: And now this, while I tried to make a mono... Thanks Richard
good detail foto...nice shoot.
Regards from Yogyakarta Indonesia.
Louis: Thank you bram
Very nice picture Louis.
Louis: Thanks Frank. This is your better influence on how I observe the environment.
will those handsome guys from a few weeks ago come and start playing around with these blocks..
Happy 501 though.... and I hope you will continue with great pictures like this one
Louis: I will ask them if they are interested in some coughie Astrid. Thanks for the happiness wish.
Those numbers are stacking up Louis. 5001 well done.
Louis: Pretty keen observation Aussie - about the stacking up.
good crop
Louis: Thank you Chantal.
Very strong.Great shot
Louis: Thank you zohre
Zoek 't kleinste steentje ;-)
Echt waar hij is er. Werk ze. Ietwat rustiger reeds?
Louis: Daar was ook de steen die geen plaats mog van de bouwer ...
Niks rustiger man. Enorme project. Seven uur soggends de huis uit en half seven terug savonds. Dan had ik nog geen tijd voor een pilsje gehad. 'K begin denken dat't zo doorgaat tot aan de end van de jaar. :-(
Is this in honour of Baksteen Nel?
Louis: Hi Bradley - are you referring to the Lions prop? Here is a new one, if you haven't met him yet. SA's own Vernon Koekemoer - shot to fame in a short space of time over here. Wears such off clothes - but who cares. You can learn more about him on http://ramboguy.co.za/tag/nandos-ad/
Are what your archive is made from
Louis: I got the sharpest comments - thanks for this one Nigel
I forgot to say happy 500th yesterday so Happy 501st today.
Louis: Why thank you Bill, that is so sweet of you (to tell you the truth I didn't notice the 500 until Nigel made his comment the next day).
think these are actually brick paver's Louis what we do drive ways and the like with, am i right? Nice one Louis.
Louis: You are right about them being pavers. Thank tim.
Very nice. I like closeups of bricks. It's a great way to show how things stack up.
And it reminds me of the bricks my Dad had in our yard. Wonderful image, as usual, Louis.
Louis: A good yard must have some stacked leftover bricks. Thanks for the comment kay.
Good detail, especially the tilting column on the left.
Louis: Thanks Red Pen -somewhat like the tower of Pisa.
Ey Louis, that work to be piling up these stones to be able to do the photo to them!!!! Jajaaj!! Very original, the truth!
Louis: Now you will know how hard I work to take a picture of mating lions
