Mmm, just the thing to look at when it is dinner time here! Did you go check out a local cheese manufacture?
Louis: This place sells very nice (and a variety of) cheeses. When we drive by, we stop and buy. Thanks for the comment Martin
They look like they could be a bit of fun to roll about the place.
Really did the rich palette of colours used on the "jesus" and the shelves.
Louis: If ever you get to Alkmaar in Holland, there is a cheese market on certain days. You will see how this type of cheeses are rolled about.
Say "cheese"!
Really nice composition - rich, warm tones and great light/shadows.
Louis: Cheese!
And THIS is reminding me of one of our favorite stores nearby us here in Amsterdam, Louis: the Kaaskamer store! Some say it is the best cheese store in all of AMS!

OK Louis, what sort of cheeses are they? What do they taste like, texture etc ...
Love the way they disappear into the darkness, and the changes of colour, presumably at the top are the older cheeses, younger, lesss mature are below?
Louis: The lighter cheese are a gouda type sweet milk cheese. The darker ones are the same with herbs included. Both excellent.
cheese indeed but those lovely warm tones are a pleasure to look at Louis, great shot.
Louis: Thanks for the comment tim
van gaalen huh? Must be a Dutchy!
Louis: You are right, the have moved here around 30 years ago. Groetjes.
Xtra lekker.
makes me wanna eat some good cheese!
ps: yes, I'm traveling again!
Louis: Thanks for the comment. Canada - at least it is getting to be summer there.

Hmmmm...somehow I don't feel like eating cheese looking at this pic - and there is nothing wrong with the pic.
