Dahlia 1
On thusrday evening I was a bit frustrated when I couldn't get on the net. So I took the macro lens an made a picture of this flower in an arrangement. Now I wonder where the flower would come from since it is not the time of the year for dahlias. Anyhow, I set to work on it with PS - the results of which you will see the rest of the week's posts.

Its a beautiful close up of a luxurious sex organ, Louis...I can't wait for the rest of the week to see what depravities you enact...perhaps you had better flag it as "adult only". [grin]
Louis: A fluffy organ indeed, ray. Now don't build up too much for the coming pictures, it may be a deflating experience.
Great colour and close up photo very good detail
Louis: Thanks vintage - slowly I am getting to understand the macro lens
Beautiful image Louis, love the detail and colours.
Louis: Thank you Aussie, I thought you would like the pink dahlia
Nice lighting
Louis: Thank you Stan
Nice macro, I like the matt effect.
Louis: Thanks Nigel, I felt it was one of the better macro's I took of lately
Excellent close up. Be interesting to see what you have done to it in PS!!
Louis: Thanks Bill, I have mucked it up zehr gut
I have a song for you sung by Tom Jones.
"Why why why, Dahlia"
Louis: Great song, if Samson stuck to Dahlia in stead of Delilah he may have stayed out of the brown pudding. Thanks Chad.
nice one louis
looks almost edible maybe it's cos i haven't had breakfast
Louis: Thanks Dr A. W! No breakfast at 9:09, if I had a doctor he would have frowned.
The crop is awesome, Louis. You made good use of your time, I see.
Louis: Have to Ginnie, have to. When frustrated, do something else you can become a whiner my momma used to say.
nice and soft color
Louis: Thank you Chantal
This is a very good close-up
Louis: Thank you Chris
The colour is fabulous ans the patterns are inviting for the bees, I'm sure.
Louis: It would have been if it was outside and it was summer
Wonderfully inviting colors, Louis!
Louis: Thank you Martin, you may like the next one
This shot captures the flower excellently...details, colors.
Louis: Thanks Tolulope. About that flash, if you have a white ceiling closeby you can swivel the head to point at the ceiling and you will have a soft light on the couple.
superb macro Louis, fascinating insight into this gorgeous flower
Louis: Thank you tim, still learning, I am.
I do not know if Dahlia season or not, but you had your photo is great!
Have a great feeling of movement, Louis.
Louis: Thanks for the comment cashondeo
Wonderful close up. Gorgeous colour and I love the post processing. (:o)
Louis: Thanks Rosalyn, wait until you see what else I have done to it
Een erg interessant close-up!
it's luring me in. a quite deceptive photo...
Louis: Thanks minelmio
another likey!
Louis: Thank you Kay - honored
Of the three… I remain with the last one! You did a good work!
Louis: Thank you Josè Angel
Interesting series, Louis. I think I like the second one (color, but with processing) best.
Louis: I think each has its better attributes - but if I have to print only one, it would be the colour and processed one
