Some hadida's in flight. The processing was to get as close to a daguerotype look as possible.

Creative and nice. This puts me in mind of early motion studies. It certainly has the look of a bygone era.
Louis: Thanks for the appreciation Red Pen.
Interesting idea. I wonder if you could do something like this with multiple exposures.
Louis: Do you mean multiple exposure like in the film days when the film was deliberately exposed more than once - in that case I believe not. If you mean a number of quick frames - that can be an idea. Track one bird through a number of exposures and stich the pictures. With a lot of luck it can be done. The main issue would be the ability to track the bird through several shots. They don't know how to co-operate
It does give it a very old-fashioned look.
Louis: Thanks for the comment Karen.
Nice PP
Louis: Thank you ChaCha
You are so creative, Louis. I love this.
The closest I can come to duplicating this photo is by making hand puppets in front of a lamp.
Louis: So take pictures of it and blog them
In my last comment, I meant it as a complement! Meaning there's no way I can come close to making such a great photo as this one
Louis: Never even thought about anything but a compliment, heh heh. If I tell you how easy it was to make this you would laugh. I have hunted some plugins down and one of them can do this.
You are behaving like the guy who has just discovered another gear on his [artistic] bicycle.
This image is simply beautiful, Louis.
Louis: Thank you Ray, quite a comparison
whatever you did, it works for me...invokes mood!
Louis: Thanks for this comment jason
Gehele week sprakeloos geweest.
Groetjes daar.
Lovely pp
Louis: Thank you Aussie
I believe that you have obtained your objective, Louis. I like east experiment!
Louis: Thanks for the comment Josè-Angel
First of all, LOL at Kay.
Secondly, I had to look up da·guerre·o·type: an early photograph produced on a silver or a silver-covered copper plate. OK then! Now that I know, CONGRATULATIONS, Louis. You did those old photographers proud!
Louis: Thanks for the comment Ginnie. You should read up about the early photographers in the US - just about part of the settlement of the west. For some of the richer explorers the photographer wasa required member of the party. The photographer commanded a couple of mules at least just to carry the plates.
Absolutely awesome ...
Louis: Thanks for the appreciative comment shakara
Kay just makes me titter as I had an e-mail on hand puppets the other day and it did remind me of that. Well done Louis you have made a fab job.
Louis: Thanks for the comment Tracy. Kay should make pictures of her puppets
it looks wonderful, louis! (:o)
Louis: Thank you Rosalyn
this makes a super abstract Louis, your processing choices sit very well with the image. mal
Louis: Thanks for this comment mal.
Reminds me of the days , 8mm movie on my parents white lounge wall

Looks as an old daguerreotype, very very old picture !
Bravo mon ami
Louis: Thanks for the comment Zebigleb.
I think your daguerreotype mission succeeded... How did you do the framing? Prop, or digital?
Louis: Thanks for the comment minelmio. The frame came from Paint Shop Pro.
this is very nice Louis... interesting and also effective
Louis: Thanks for the comment liam. I have been extremely busy the past couple of days and am now catching up with comments
