The dance is a poem of which each movement is a word. ~Mata Hari With this emphatic and deep thought, I bid thee all a splendid weekend in which to weave movements into dances.

Sir, same 2 U.
Louis: Ben jij al terug van de maffe belgen? Dan is't druk tijd voor een heerlijk ontspannen weekend.
The long exposure worked out very well here! You have a good weekend too.
Louis: Thank you Martin, I kept being in the way of the wedding photographers
I've got the song for this but not in my computer files. I like this, Louis. I like cre8ive.
Louis: Thank you Mary - and the song title? 'Dancing the night away' maybe?
Beautiful image! Happy weekend to you as well.
Louis: Thank you martie
Magnificent and enigmatic. Wish those dudes at the table were more out of focus.
Reminds me of whirling dirvishes.
Louis: You are right about the dudes and dudettes - I was thinking of cropping them out as well, but the try confirmed that I am destroying the composition. Sometimes you can't win them all. Thanks for the comment Viktor.
This feels so ephemeral, Louis. Almost ghostly. A dance it is and one I wish for us all this weekend.
Louis: Ephemeral - a moment in time - jumpin' jack flash - dancing. I see how you make the connections in your mind
Ephemeral and enigmatic ... fascinating.
richard
Louis: Count minutes by sensation, and not by calendars, and each moment is a day. I think that was Benjamin Disraeli. Thanks for the comment Richard.
A lovely reflection- lightening- pic with warm colours! A remembrance of the wedding of your sun Dirk? In Germany we have danced into the May (Tanz in den Mai)- maar nu we genieten al van het zomerweer en alle plaatsen komen tot vol leven en allen mogen zeggen: "Hier bin ich Mensch,/hier darf's ich sein!"
Louis: Yes Philine, that is Dirk and Anri opening the dance floor at their wedding reception. Your remark about europe entering summer and becoming a complete human being had me remember how profound the change of seasons is for you guys.
Some way to start the weekend...this is so well captured, it is like a dream...I am impressed.
Louis: Thank you Astrid, I am impressed that you are impressed
Wonderful and fascinating image Louis. Have a great weekend too!
Louis: Thanks Richard, the weekend proves to be OK so far
huge likey. mal
Louis: Thank you mal, it is appreciated a lot.
dancing ghosts...great capture...
Have a good and sunny weekend!!
Louis: Thank you Chantal - great sunny weekend so far
Great picture, excellent long exposure.
Congratulations.
Louis: Obrigado, Josè.
I have taken a look at many of your pictures. It is a showcase of an accomplished photographer. Excellent.
stunning shot Louis and i feel a conversion would make it better for me, you too have a great weekend
Louis: Thanks tim. What kind of conversion did you have in mind? Maybe I can give it a spin.
Very, very nice. Love the colours too
Louis: Thanks Ellie. The colours are from all the candles that were lit in the place. Nice old fashioned in that way
well done!! I like this kind of photos.
Louis: Thank you Arash. If you like this, you can also take a look at http://timhitchins.shutterchance.com/photoblog/156802.htm
This is so ghostly almost as if a dead family member is there with them protecting them and celebrating the wedding
Louis: Thank you Brad, it does have some atmosphere I agree.
Ghosts don't only scare folks...they dance too.
Louis: The see-through people on exhibition. Thanks ray.
Ghostly feel to this, I like it - I see your point when it comes to cropping more - but have you tried just croppping out 1 cm to the right in the pic - then the pic would dissapear into the dark in the right of the pic...just a suggestion...
Louis: My conscience has spoken
I have checked the picture and see what you mean - I believe it will have the picture look better. |
