Are they paying you? I applaud your unobvious choice of focus.
Louis: Unfortunately not Martin - and if you have contacts I wouldn't mind. Will cut you a percentage as brokers fee
Creative DOF - don't we all know that iconic logo even when just hinted at.
Louis: Thanks Red Pen - the blue and white spinning propeller.
The gills of the Z3! My favorite part of the car, Louis. How did you know??
Louis: The gills - somehow the car reminds me of a shark because of those gills. Maybe it is the part of the car that I like too
Rich colour super car
Louis: Thanks vintage - I thought the car's colour is somewhat unusual. But if you would give me a pink one it would be fine too
Following the last poll (only in Germany or worldwide? I don't know) the best car according comfort, security..., I'm not sure and I'm not a car-freak, but I find the grass- and tree-reflections in your photo impressive.
Louis: Thanks Philine - it is what Ginnie referred to as the gills and the reflections that I were after for this picture. The car you describes sounds like a Volvo
Ah like this Louis. The relection and dof are great.
Louis: Thank you Aussie - one thing when you are working nights - we are awake at the same time
Louis you got me surprise here....GREAT DOF, I agree with your (?) car.... we go for Opel....German too
Louis: Thanks Astrid. If you asked me to guess your car, I would have said Opel - just because there are so many in holland. The Z3 is not my car - it was parked next to mine saturday at the horses.
@ Astrid : why not Trabant ? That's german too. ;-)
Good use of dof Louis. Good picture.
Louis: Thanks Frank. I would think that Astrid should choose a DAF to demonstrate patriotism. One of those nice old variomatic models. Heh, she will hit me with a tennis racquet if she reads this
Not sure what this is Louis (he lied, drooling from both sides of his mouth at the same time. Still, it proves I'm level-headed).
Amazing how much you can get into what seems so simple a composition. Nice one.
Louis: Thanks for the comment Colin. I hope all is well with you and that you have found something. I think I will pop over to your site - maybe get the the answer there
Why not go the full hog Merc is also German!! LOL
Nice use of DOF Louis. The gill's look like cheese graters
Louis: Thanks Tracy. Cheese graters in the gills - poor Z3
cool closeup
Louis: Thank you Chantal
Do you drive a Z3, Louis? If so I must really alter my little schema of you.
Ditto on all the remarks made about the technicalities of the photograph. Ha on Frank van H and his Trabant comment!
Louis: No Kathryn, the schema is still intact. Not my type of car, although I like the design etc.
Great shot Louis. I like the focus and the reflection
Louis: Thanks Richard - it was mainly the reflection that drew me to the shot.
De boeren mest wagen.
Louis: Of dan ook 'blik met wiele'
DAF, Variomatic, Louis, those are incredible cars.....they drive as fast forwards as backwards......you know as well as I do, I would love to drive in a DAF, they now only make the big trucks....I do own a drivers licence to drive over 4 tons of load

Louis: I thought I should be careful with comments Astrid. Someone ratted on me
I loved all of that chrome on the original Z3 but hate it on the new models but still if some one were to .. give me one I wouldn't say no thanks gov don't like the gills !
J
Louis: The Z3 is more of a likey to me than the Z4 Johnny. But I don't think it is my type of car - it is too limited in application. Although good for catching birds
so simple but yet so creative Louise, until now would never have dreamt of making a image out of so little, lesson learnt, superb
Louis: Thanks for this comment tim.
Très belles couleurs et un cadrage original !
Louis: Merci beaucoup 10crè
N-I-C-E!!!!
Louis: T-H-A-N-K-S for the comment Kay
Funky reflections. I like that you focused in on those.
Louis: Thank you Jewlya
Wow! A great car! A great pic!
Louis: Thank you J-A. I know you like a nice car.
Great shot Louis
LOL at Tracy and the cheese graters!
Louis: Thanks Michelle - the graters are not far of the mark - the looks is there.
I like the reflection and not so obvious choice of focus point here
Louis: Thanks for this comment Aksel
Wow - I see you've a new car, congratulations my friend
Louis: I am glad that you think I am rich and idle
