Nice portrait - the background tells his story well.
Louis: Thanks Jewlya. This type of meat market is a bit unusual for me. I did spend some time in it.
I like the guy eying you to estimate how much he could sell your tenderloins for. Very nice industrial street photography.
Louis: Well Martin, if he is going for my tenderloins,he must prepare for resistance.

Lol Ginnies comment. I can almost smell it from here. He's carrying a bit extra meat himself. Nice shot Louis.
Louis: I thought that maybe he was hiding a leg of lamb in there. Thanks Aussie.

Agora kreaton- a bloody place and, sorry, no appetite (although I'm no vegetarian)!
Louis: You managed to decipher the name. Excellent observation and translation. The Agora is in the old part of the city. well done Philine.

I smile at his pose...

It's almost like you have put me in this room, for real, I can hear, smell and taste the room and atmosphere....
Louis: Thank you for this comment Aksel
Great "ambiance" shot Louis. I like the pose the foreground man!
Louis: Thanks Richard, and I was hoping he would move away smile
Smithfields in London was once the most important meat market. Today it is obsolete and there are threats to destroy the building .. which would be a real shame.
Fascinating and busy image. I like it. richard
Louis: Thanks for the informative comment Richard. I like old buildings and share your sentiment - I am all for renovation.
An interesting action picture.
Louis: Thank you Helen
Well seen, even funny when you look at it carefully : Bravo Louis !
Louis: Quite a busy lot, even after sundown. Thanks for the comment Imaginerf

Probably a bit of dog and goat down the right side.
Fine portrait of the athlete front/centre.
Louis: Some of the carcasses did look suspicious, but they passed closer inspection. Goat is an acceptable alternative to lamb. Had a goat on the spit just the other night at a cousin's birthday smile
