Metro mosque

The series about religious relics continues.

From wiki: Religious belief can also involve causes, principles or activities believed in with zeal or conscientious devotion concerning points or matters of ethics or conscience, not necessarily limited to organised religions.

The 'Metro' sign indicates a big department store (mostly hidden by other buildings) owned by a muslim family, who also have more of these shops in Pretoria. This is the head office branch. I find it very interesting how they have added the mosque onto one side of the shop buildings. In comparison with the picture of last week, there are no opposites here. They have integrated religion into the business. There will be some cost (duty) advantages in this integration :-)

The conversion is a washed HDR.

Religion is big business for some l suppose. Not all thankfully
Louis: Yes, there are those who invest and those who withdraw smile
Money buys everything, doesn't it?
Well seen and captured Louis.
Louis: My aunt used to say: Money is not all, but that what comes second is so far behind.
Well I suppose there is an honesty of a kind here.

Unusual treatment Louis
Louis: Thanks for the comment Bill. The treatment is not to be repeated smile
I like the information a lot, I am not sure about the tonemapping here.
Louis: Tonemapping too flashy, I agree. Thanks for the comment F&FP
There is a seventies look and feel to the photo with your treatment. I like it!
Louis: Thanks for that Mary. I have a 50/50 feel about the treatment.
