Even Purrl is impressed but she can't say likey. I can.
Louis: Thank you Mary and greetings to Purrl. Please tell her that this is not her long lost cousin - he didn't have spots.
superb capture in his environment Louis... love the tall grass and bush....petersmile
Louis: Thank you peter. It is quite exhilarating to meet them like this while on foot. Fortunately, they are not as ferocious as the other big cats.

I nearly didn't see him.
Louis: Too much sidewalk girl hunting does that to you - I think.
One of your best Louis! Going straight to my likeys.

This is quite lovely, Louis. Well done!
Louis: Thank you Lisl, they are special animals to me.
I see that you used a long lens for this shot Louis... but you are still a brave man to get that close to him....petersmile
Louis: It mock-charged, hissed and spat at me, shortly after the shot. But no big issue once you understand some wild animal behaviour. Just applying knowledge, not brave. Thanks peter.

Your cheetahs are amazing. I posted a couple on Sept 4th and 5th in 2011 from a trip to Tanzania. They are magnificent creatures and you captured them beautifully.
Louis: Thank you Beth. I took a look at some of your Tanzania pictures. Some great ones there.

Louis: Thank you Aussie.
Beautiful profile, Louis!
Louis: Thank you Elizabeth
All of your cheetah images are fantastic, Louis, but this one is simply superb. The warm colours, the composition, the subject matter... everything works together to produce a winning shot.
Louis: Thank you Beverly. Sometimes I am surprised by which one draws the atention. This is such a case.
