Epicurean moments in Dutch style 2

The serving terrace of this establishment is out of view on the other side. This side had the nice reflection. On the right, just in the frame, you see some people buying softijs (soft whirled ice cream). I joined the queue a few moments later, since it was quite a warm day in Enkhuizen.

This is also a HDR manufactured directly in the camera.

A sort of DQ [Dairy Queen] franchise! I suppose the Dutch style is in the flavours on offer...perhaps "pickled herring" and similar...
Louis: I will send them the hint of 'pickled herring' flavour, great idea Ray grin
So charming! Just what I'd think of...
Louis: A nice place for sure and with a lot of photographic points, Elizabeth

It looks very agreeable Louis. The man on the left has the woman under his spell. He has made her sit, later he will instruct her to...
Louis: ... you really think it will be possible?

This is a lovely scene Louis. What's the chimney at the back??
Louis: The chimney is the exhaust side of a steam driven laundry operation. Thanks Sally.

A warm, peaceful scene, Louis. I can see why you like the liquid reflections
Louis: ... versus liquid refreshments? Thanks Lisl.
Now this does absolutely look like a postcard Louis.
Louis: You can remember what they looked like, Fred?
Nice bit of choccie box Louis.
Louis: I think the Hindeloopen sells choccies as well, Bill.

''Hey maam, do you really want me to take six large steps back.''
Louis: That would constitute horseplay, Richard

You can't go far wrong with a bit of nice twirly ice cream Louis. This place looks incredibly neat and tidy.
Louis: In general, you will find the Dutch to be a neat and tidy bunch of people, Chad.
Yes, Chad it right; neat and tidy were the first things that came to mind when I saw this, Louis.
Louis: In general, you will find the Dutch to be a neat and tidy bunch of people, Beverly.
Can't get more peaceful than this delightful shot.
Louis: Thank you, Martin. It is also a delightful place.
This is a charming place Louis. Did you try the restaurant?
Louis: Thank you richard, I only tried the soft serve ice cream
Now, there's one pleasing scene, Louis.
Louis: I thought so too, Graeme - very urbane.
This is a very pleasant place to have captured Louis... the ladies chatting... the reflections and ice-cream to finish it all off... the HDR function on your camera works well....petersmile
Louis: Thank you peter - I am happy with that function.

The chef seems to be preparing to drink a toast, but then maybe it is the laundry staff swapping tales after a hard day steaming! Very pleasant location all the same.
Louis: They are personnel from the cheese shop just around the corner, and came out for a smoke break and a cheesy chat. Thank you blackdog.
